The Fundamentals of Tawheed (Islamic Monotheism)

Literally Tawheed means "unification" (making something one) or "asserting oneness", and it comes from the Arabic verb (wahhada) which itself means to unite, unify or consolidate.1 However, when the term Tawheed is used in reference to Allaah (i.e. Tawheedullaah2), it means the realizing and maintaining of Allaah's unity in all of man's actions which directly or indirectly relate to Him. It is the belief that Allaah is One, without partner in His dominion and His actions (Ruboobeeyah), One without similitude in His essence and attributes (Asmaa wa Sifaat), and One without rival in His divinity and in worship (Ulooheeyah/'Ebaadah). These three aspects form the basis for the categories into which the science of Tawheed has been traditionally divided. The three overlap and are inseparable to such a degree that whoever omits any one aspect has failed to complete the requirements of Tawheed. The omission of any of the above mentioned aspects of Tawheed is referred to as "Shirk" (lit. sharing); the association of partners with Allaah, which, in Islamic terms, is in fact idolatry.

In order to create, God has no need to design
It’s important that the word “design” be properly understood. That God has created a flawless design does not mean that He first made a plan and then followed it. God, the Lord of the Earth and the heavens, needs no “designs” in order to create. God is exalted above all such deficiencies. His planning and creation take place at the same instant.
Whenever God wills a thing to come about, it is enough for Him just to say, "Be!"
As verses of the Qur’an tell us:
His command when He desires a thing is just to say to it, “Be!” and it is. (Qur’an, 36: 82)
[God is] the Originator of the heavens and Earth.
When He decides on something, He just says to it, “Be!” and it is. (Qur’an, 2: 117)

A man's wife asks him to go to the store to buy some cigarettes. He walks down to the store only to find it closed. So he goes into a nearby bar to use the vending machine. At the bar he sees a beautiful woman and starts talking to her. They have a couple of beers and one thing leads to another and they end up in her apartment. After they've had their fun, he realizes its 3 a.m. and says, ''Oh no, its so late, my wife's going to kill me. Have you got any talcum powder?'' She gives him some talcum powder, which he proceeds to rub on his hands and then he goes home. His wife is waiting for him in the doorway and she is pretty pissed. ''Where the hell have you been?!?!'' she screaches. ''Well, honey, its like this. I went to the store like you asked, but they were closed. So I went to the bar to use the vending machine. I saw this great looking chick there and we had a few drinks and one thing led to another and I ended up in bed with her.'' ''Oh yeah? Let me see your hands!'' She sees his hands are covered with powder and says, ''You liar! You went bowling again!''

That made my step daughter my step-mother.
And my father became my step-son.
Also my wife became mother-in-law of her father-in-law.
Much later the daughter of my wife, my step-mother, had ason. This
boy was my half brother because he was my father's son.
But hewas also the son of my wife's daughter which made him my wife's
grand-son.
That made me the grandfather of my half brother.
This was nothing until my wife and I had a son.
Now the half sister of my son, my step-mother, is also his
grandmother. This makes my father thebrother-in-law of my child, whose
step-sister is my father's wife.
I am my step-mother's brother-in-law, my wife is her own child's aunt,
my son is my father's nephew and I am my OWN GRAND-FATHER!!!!!!!!!!
And you thinkyou have FAMILY PROBLEMS!!!!!!!!!
